Hiya!! I'm back!! It's been awhile, hasn't it? Time for me to share with you all the great stuff that's been happening so far! :D
First of, it was my birthday!! Yep. I held a birthday party over at my place and invited a whole bunch of friends. I haven't actually had a party in years (Last one being when I was in primary 5...). I had friends from Innova (Mandy, Chris, Jane, Sweet, Avelyn, Sylvia whom I met only that day), Cat High (Joash, Aaron, Jian Ye, Choon Wee, Wei Da, Geok Khoon), Parry (Sharon, Mel, Gavin), and my good friends Hua Xia, Sam, Justin, Elsa. Of course, after so many years, I actually got presents!! :D Haha...
Thanks loads pals... really appreciated it!! Hua Xia gave me this really awesome Solar Powered Casio watch with an Auto motion-sensored backlight, phone book, date counter, timer, 5-alarm, world clock, stop watch... it's just real way cool!! Jap gave me a $20 popular voucher, Aaron and juan gave me the "Allow us to be frank" album by westlife and a really over-funky T-shirt that I don't dare to wear :D Sharon gave a really nice book, mel gave a white billabong wallet, chris and guys gave me a set of headphones, avelyn and slyvia gave a really nice T-shirt, and elsa baked me a giant brownie!! And Jerome blessed me with a birthday blessing from daddy God! Of course, it's nothing compared to what Mandy gave me!! :) Ahem. Thanks guys!!
School life's been really boring now a days, with the school population dropping by the day. I've really been slacking a lot, hardly doing any tutorials and stuff. I don't skip lectures or tutorials though :D Except just this one time I skipped ONE physics lecture with my class :D Anyway, so far we've been tested in GP, Physics, Computing and Maths. How did I fare? I'm the only one who passed GP!! :D And no one passed physics, but I scored 9 out of 20, just one mark less from a pass (in other words i scored highest for that too :D) Surprisingly, I didn't do that well for computing or maths... It's okay. I'm content so far! Thanks Daddy God!! :) Chris, Ian and Avelyn are leaving Innova to SAJC, SAJC and ACJC respectively. Sigh. So is Cheryl (to SP). Almost all of Vulpecula is leaving, other than me, mandy, sourisha, vereena, gilbert, RA and Aisat. Ah well.
The council's been working on the orientation, but for once, I'm not really feeling happy with it. That passionate content feeling is gone for this project. The guys in charge are leading in a way I'm totally not used to, so I get left out most of the time in decision making or suggestions... it's okay, not their fault. I miss being the vice-head back in cat high. I guess I have to learn to be a follower too. Can't expect to be leading all the time. My passion is still with the council though, just that it feels different. I'll just have to learn to adapt. Mrs Naidu says I do too much and work too fast, making the rest misunderstand my intentions, and think I'm trying to fight for power, which is so totally not me... After that I decided to just sit down and follow instructions... Ah well.
By the way, have you guessed what's that blessing I was telling you guys about on my previous entry? :D It's my girlfriend!!! :D I love her so so much, that's all I can say about her... And God helped a lot. From knowing each other to helping us get together. I mean, so far we've been put in same committees for almost every project in the council!! We're even in the pre-u sem together!! Once in a while, I'd say it's luck. But every time? If it's not God, I don't know what it is!! I love you, daddy God!! Cause you first loved us! :) Love ya penguin! ;)
