Hey there! How was your JC orientation? Don't know about you, but mine was great! (If it wasn't good for you, go back to read my previous entry) Made good friends, had good experiences, had fun, all in all, I think we're gonna miss each other after this orientation... Anyway, I've managed to get some pictures uploaded. The following picture was taken using Cheryll's phone on Friday morning back in Innova in our home room.
In case you're wondering, that's our orientation Polo. Our group, Vulpecula (a.k.a Foxes, cos it's the constellation of the fox), is in the yellow colour dwelling, that's why there's the yellow collar. Anyway, I've only got this one at the moment. Still waiting for our group photo, then I can show you all the wonderful people in my group! Go Foxes!! The following pictures are from the past two months from that traditional 35mm camera of mine that I promised to get them scanned the moment I got them.
If you wanna see more, check em' out here to view the album. Yep. In the mean time, have a blessed week! Speaking of blessings, I had a blessed weekend! Yesterday, I went to the NCC Campus Welcome Party. Oh, and when I mean NCC, I mean New Creation Church. Campus ministry is basically the youth group from JC to Uni. Anyway, I had fun during the ice breakers, met some real funky people, including Louis, who was the one who has been contacting me about campus, and lots of people around my age. Really cool. Oh, and then there was the service. Never saw so many young guys in a service before!! They had trouble assigning me to a care group because I'm from Innova, but in the end, I got assigned to the North care group which consisted of NYJC, AJC, SRJC and YJC, and from yesterday, IJC as well (Thank's to me :p). Then today, had an awesome time at church too. We sang like a remix some all-time favourites like King of Majesty and Best friend. I'd say it's one of the best praise and worships I had. It's nothing compared to the one during christmas of course, but it was really awesome! We were jumping to the beat of king of majesty: "Jesus, you are the saviour of my soul..." Amen! And then there was the collection of money in aid of the tsunami. The total amount of money collected from thursday and friday's bible study and today's first service was S$300,000!! And after adding the money collected from the second service which I attended, we got more than S$400,000!! Praise God!! Pastor Prince had decided to donate all the money from all the services today, because God will provide. Amen! A blessed weekend indeed, meaning a blessed week ahead!! :) "Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall." - Psalm 55:22 (New International Version) Don't cast your cares on yourself, live a life of no worries. "Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid" (John 14:27). That's the life I lead. A life of love. Love for God, love for my friends, love for my family, love for my school, love for the world. God bless you all!! - Daniel
