Time sure flies... The O levels are halfway through. I can now say goodbye to English, Chinese, Social Studies and Maths!! Hah!! Now I'm left with half of A Maths, half of Geog and the two sciences. 7 More days!! Yeah man!
I've been studying at the Bishan Interchange McDonalds for the past few weeks. Every single day. Eileen brought me there a few weeks ago, and I can't stop gpoing there... a wonderful place to study, in my opinion. Lots of people there too! It's the mugger's hangout for Cat High, St. Nicks, KCPSS, and Cedar guys and gals. Lots of Cat High guys that I'm usually not very close with, and thanks to those few days now, finally got to know them better. Really interesting huh? For 4 years, we've been in the same school, but never really got to know each other, and all of a sudden, thanks to this usually empty McDonalds at the back of an interchange, we finally get to know each other! I made friends with these 2 KCPSS guys too. Then I met Yisha and Ethel there too. Not forgetting Li Rong and her friends. She's a really fun person to study with. I'm there practically 7 days a week, from 11 am to 7 pm!
Yesterday, I met 2 more guys who decided to start studying there. I joined them at their table to study. Then they started talking about school. I didn't really enjoy that conversation cos they mentioned Hua Xia and Pat. They kinda insulted them both. Was a little pissed with them for that, but decided not to show it. I mean, how can they believe some stupid rumours when they don't know them personally?? It was useless convincing them cos they just kept saying I was making excuses. Their loss.
Then there was the usual "Why you wanna go Innova? It sucks!!" and the "Ay, CJ better than Innova right? See? Innova sucks la... don't go there" I'm so glad they finally changed the subject, or I'd have left the table immediately. I mean, insulting my friends is bad enough, now you're trying to insult my dreams? Nevermind... they haven't seen the real world yet. I forgive them. My dream is to show these people that Innova is going to rock their arses off the face of this planet!
Even my mom doesn't support me. She was asking me how I would fare for this O level. I told her I'll do much better. And she smiled and said "Then you can go National or Anderson!!" I simply pointed out the window of our dining room and said "I'm going there, and I've made up my mind" (Innova's just behind my house) So she went on about how she spoke to some "Experienced teachers" on how new schools suck and stuff like that. See what I mean when the people who try to stop you from your dreams are usually your loved ones? It's okay. I'll show them all!
I've been thinking a lot about Innova and Tech-WhizZ these few days. 2 of my biggest dreams getting bigger by the day. My little book is getting filled with ideas day by day. That little book of mine has suddenly become Tech-WhizZ's whiteboard! Then there's Innova, and all the possibilities there. Of course there's the Os I think about too. Not as much as those two though.
Then... there's that special person in my life. She's once again emerged from the shadows of my mind. It all started when Elsa saw her photo in my PDA one day from church. I told her about our story, and she said she can help me find her. I told her it was okay, but she did it anyway. Really grateful to her. It's been almost a year since she left on that fateful Novemeber 23rd morning. 4 am... sigh... I'll never forget that. In the past week, I dug out everything I could find in my house that had a trace of her, from her letter to her SMSes. I've decided to find her. And this time, Jesus is with me. It doesn't matter which part of the world she's in, I'll do my best to find her. May God bless me. I do hope she hasn't forgotten about me. Sigh.
Enough about that. 3 dreams I will achieve. Go to Innova and help make dreams come true, Make Tech-whizZ a success, and find my dear girl. Amen.
